This week’s list includes:
Sunday waking up early to go to the grocery store to get stuff for cheesy potatoes for an extended family gathering. All details have been coordinated about said family gathering by me. Prepped, chopped and baked potatoes, got the kids ready got myself ready. Met my husband at the party with everything in tow.
Got the kids up, made lunches got everyone out the door to school drove everybody to school. Did some work from home while cleaning up the house, doing laundry, paying bills, planning an extended family vacation with my husband‘s family. I usually do all of the planning for these because no one is decisive.
Two sick kids home yesterday from school with similar but different symptoms, cue Dr. ChatGPT. Monitored screen time, made them get some fresh air, simultaneously did work and communicated final decisions on vacation plans with my husband’s family. Filled out spring at camp, permission, slips, made sure we had cash for hot lunches, cleaned up a old kitchen set my daughter wanted to sell on marketplace, found a buyer and coordinated meet up details.
Kids woke up late scrambled to get everybody to school with lots of resistance, they were healthy enough for me to require them to head back to school. Met up with marketplace buyer, got both kids ready and to school with lunches made. Drove everybody to school. Came home. Did dishes, switched laundry. Cleaned up shredded toilet paper all over the bathroom from the cats last night. Cleaned kids bathroom pee from all over the toilet. Vacuumed the house. Did an expense report shot off a couple of emails. Headed grocery shopping. It’s 11 AM and I’m going to treat myself to a walk in the sunshine!
